At 6:38 pm on October 26th, 2020 Riverside City Fire responded to multiple 911 calls about a Vegetation Fire in the area of Jurupa Ave and Bradford st. The fire quickly grew to three alarms due to the structure threat. Within an hour or so, the Firefighters had made quick work of knocking down the flames and spent the next 2 hours mopping up the hot spots.
Then a second fire broke out just to the north where Hole Lake meets Jurupa ave. Crews were stretched across the city which caused an extended response time, but the fire was slow moving with no threat to structures. Quick work was made by the first 2 arriving units that kept this fire from getting out of control
